Home Office Wall Art

Office wall art is an easy way to make your workspace feel more personal. Hang art that reminds you of the things you love – travel memories, music or food – and create a backdrop that keeps you motivated while reminding you who you are outside of work.

Where can I find affordable wall art?

Open edition art prints are a great way to buy artwork you love, and are much more affordable than original prints. Look for independent artists who sell their work as prints, and choose standard sizes so you can use ready-made frames rather than paying for custom framing. Fox & Velvet prints come in a range of standard sizes, so you can start small or create a larger gallery wall without having to buy everything at once.

How high should I hang wall art above a desk?

As a starting point, leave around 15–25cm (6–10 inches) between the top of your desk and the bottom of your artwork. If you’re hanging several prints together, treat them as one piece and position the whole group in relation to the desk. Start there and adjust until it feels balanced in your space.

How do I hang framed prints without damaging the walls?

You can hang framed prints without drilling into the walls if you use the right fixture. We’ve had great success with 3M CLAW™ hangers, which use small hardened steel claws to support the frame and leave only small holes in the drywall (similar to a small nail). Different sizes are available for different weights, with some rated to hold weights up to 30kg.

What kind of art works best in an office?

Choose art that makes your office somewhere you actually want to spend time. Colourful abstracts can bring energy to a plain workspace, while travel, food, music or other prints connected to your interests add something personal. If your office is in the background of video calls, artwork can also give an otherwise practical space a little more personality.
