Kitchen Prints

Food-themed art is always a natural fit for the kitchen. Think about the things you genuinely love - favourite dishes, cocktails or specific ingredients like kimchi. You can also tailor your artwork to different areas: fruit and coffee prints work particularly well in a breakfast nook, while cocktail art is perfect near a drinks trolley or home bar. Kitchens can be visually busy spaces, so give your artwork some room to breathe rather than trying to fill every available wall.

If you’re lucky enough to have a completely empty kitchen wall, make the most of it with either a large statement print or a gallery wall. Kitchens are particularly good places for eclectic gallery walls, so everything doesn’t need to match. Try combining art prints with painted or decorative plates, framed vintage food packaging, small mirrors or other pieces you’ve collected over time.

Look for areas where artwork can create a focal point without competing with everything else in the room. Empty walls, breakfast nooks and the space above a coffee station or sideboard are natural places for art. The main rule is to keep artwork away from areas exposed to excessive heat or moisture, such as directly above the hob or immediately beside the sink.
